Every way we capture a punch, and everything built on top of it

ZKTeco integration

Connect any ADMS device out of the box. See ZKTeco cloud attendance →

ADMS / Cloud Push

Devices push punches to the cloud in real time.

Face-recognition kiosk

Turn any tablet or phone into a face check-in kiosk, with blink & head-turn liveness — works offline and syncs later.

GPS & geofenced check-in

Field and remote staff check in only from the locations and radius you allow per branch.

Rotating QR check-in

Display a secure QR that refreshes every few seconds so a photographed code can't be reused.

Mobile face check-in (WFH)

Remote employees verify with a selfie matched to their enrolled face — blocks buddy-punching.

Web self check-in

One-click check-in / out from the browser for remote and hybrid staff.

AI remote monitoring

Optional periodic selfie re-verification during remote shifts, with employee consent (UAE PDPL).

Trusted-device security

A new device is held for HR review before its punches count, stopping unauthorised check-ins.

Attendance types, and what each one actually means

Four things people mean by “attendance type”. They are genuinely different, and conflating them is how timesheets go wrong.

Capture method

Biometric, face kiosk, QR, GPS, mobile face, web, card on the terminal, or a manual entry by HR.

Punch type

Check-in, check-out, break-out, break-in, overtime-in and overtime-out.

Shift type

Fixed, flexible, rotational, split, night and 24-hour. A night shift crossing midnight stays on one shift date.

Day status

Present, absent, late, early out, half day, weekend, holiday, paid leave, unpaid leave, missing punch.

Built for UAE HR, not just attendance

Capturing a punch is where it starts. These are the parts that keep a UAE payroll lawful and an HR file defensible.

Leave management

Requests, approvals and balances in one place, with annual and sick leave following UAE Federal Decree-Law 33/2021 - including the 15/30/45-day sick-leave tiers - so entitlement is computed, not tracked in a spreadsheet.

Leave calendar

See who is off before you approve. One shared calendar across branches and departments, so two supervisors never sign off the same week twice.

End-of-service settlement

A final settlement that shows the working: service period, the 21-day and 30-day gratuity tiers, leave encashment, notice pay and each deduction - every line naming the article it rests on, and payable within 14 days under Article 53.

Gratuity liability

Know what you owe before anyone resigns. Accrued end-of-service liability across the whole workforce, updated as service accrues.

Lawful deductions

Article 25 caps enforced inside the payroll run itself. Nothing can take more than half a wage - anything above the ceiling is withheld, carried to the next month, and shown to the employee as withheld by law.

Warnings & discipline

The Article 39 ladder with the procedure attached - accusation, hearing, defence recorded, minute on file. A sanction raised more than 30 days after the violation was established is blocked before it can be issued.

Visa & document expiry

Passports, Emirates IDs, visas, labour cards and any document you add are tracked to their expiry date, with a weekly digest so a lapse is never a surprise.

Payroll & WPS exports

Attendance becomes payroll: overtime, late penalties, unpaid leave and absence resolved by your own rules, then exported as WPS-ready files for the bank.

Loans & Advances

Issue a staff loan or salary advance and recover it through payroll, inside the 20% ceiling and the 50% overall cap. See loans & advances →

Expense Claims

Staff submit what they spent on your behalf; approved claims are added to the payslip rather than deducted from it.

Employee self-service

Staff see their own attendance, leave balance, documents and payslip, and raise leave requests from a phone - most of the questions that reach HR, answered before they are asked.
